CLUSTALW multiple sequence alignment procedure (Thompson, J.D., Higgins, D.G. and Gibson, T.J. CLUSTAL W: improving the sensitivity of progressive multiple sequence alignment through sequence weighting, position-specific gap penalties and weight matrix choice (1994) Nucleic Acids Res., 22(22), 4673-4680.) was used to prepare sequence alignement for different Lysozyme sequences.
Detailed analysis shows, that in this alignment all cysteine residues are
conserved.
